OUR MISSION
Founded in October of 2010, No 2nd Takes Productions LLC is a media production house that services the Miami, Florida, and Chicago, Illinois markets. We're on a never-ending quest to find, create, design & produce extraordinary video experiences for the web, television, and social media platforms. We believe in helping businesses build their brands with original and creative content.
Meet the Team
DERRICK MICHAEL REYES
Founding Partner
Derrick is the Founder and CEO of No 2nd Takes Productions. Derrick knew at an early age that he wanted to become an entrepreneur but didn’t know there was such a thing.
Through exploration and mentorship, Derrick developed a passion for media, film and technology and became one of the youngest film production studio owners serving the Miami, Florida market in his early twenties. His love for creative media and background in Information Technology, helped propel his vision for video production into the live stream industry back in 2014. With a BA in Marketing, Mass Communication and Journalism from Florida International University; and a graduate from Florida State’s Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, Business Executive Administration and Management Program, Derrick not only brings vision and leadership ability, but also over 12 years of both shooting, producing and editing experience to our production team.
He spends his free time with his family, and finding new dive spots to put his diving certification to good use. Along with giving businesses their creative voice and presence, he is focused on serving. An avid activist, Derrick works to end childhood hunger and helps close the gap in deforestation and climate change through partnerships with Project Feeding Kids, and the National Forest Foundation.
ANDRE G.
Managing Partner
Andre is a partner and managing director at No 2nd Takes Productions, with a portfolio of responsibilities that include client services, business development, and managing aesthetic decisions that give our work magic. With a BA in Film Production and Graphic Design from The Art Institute, he has an extensive background in art and video production. Andre still remembers manually editing video from a film reel and shooting in Hi8 tape cameras in his early teens. He’s managed various initiatives across the globe for brands and companies such as Caribbean Airlines, American University, Major Lazer, BMW, Florida gubernatorial candidates and in the government sector.
RACHAEL H.
Production Coordinator
Rachael is our Production Coordinator. She leads our key stake holders through the customer journey and oversees our production logistics. Rachael is responsible for organizing large scale events, client communications, confirming PA work. If you looked up “organized” in the dictionary you’d see her mugshot. With over 10 years experience working in Japan and at a major design firm in New York City, she brings a unique and stylistic approach to all of her creative endeavors.
A proud mom and Florida International University graduate, she loves all things design, food and anime.
She has extensive experience in driving on the opposite side of the road since she has a Japanese driver’s license and makes her own jewelry.
ROBYN R.
Chief Financial Officer
Robyn is our financial guru. She helps keep our finances in order and works with our producers to make sure all client projects are on budget as well as on time. After receiving her MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business, she was a PM for a billion dollar tech firm in Chicago. No kidding.
Even though Robyn is impeccable with numbers, she is an Engineer by trade. She loves the process of building from the ground up and making her projects impeccable. Her love for math shows in her hobbies as she often works side-by-side with her home contractors on their buildouts. She pridefully owns her own tools chest and various miter saws. We may just shoot an HGTV show for her; she’d easily star in it.
Her can-do attitude and problem solving skills help us find creative solutions for our clients and partners.
If trees gave free WiFi, we’d be planting more of them. Unfortunately, they just give us the air we breathe.
